Profile projection measurement
An optical comparator (profile projector) measures without contact: it projects the magnified shadow of the part onto a graduated screen, where you compare its contour against a drawing or directly measure radii, angles and distances.
The HB400 is a horizontal benchtop unit with a 16" (400 mm) screen and five interchangeable lenses (10X to 100X); it delivers the performance of a floor-standing unit in a benchtop size, ideal for threads, radii, and contours of small and medium parts.
