S7 Steel
Shock resistant
Chrome-molybdenum tool steel, air or oil hardening, with very high impact and shock resistance. For tools and dies subject to dynamic loads and blows. Its low carbon produces a tough martensite that absorbs the energy of impacts without cracking; also suitable for warm work up to 540 °C.
