Complete dry lubrication for every stage of wire drawing
VICAFIL® is the CONDAT line of dry lubricants developed to improve wire drawing performance. Its formulations reduce friction between the wire and the dies, promote consistent lubrication and help extend tooling life.
The range includes calcium, sodium and mixed soaps for different stages of the process: from the first reductions to multi-pass wire drawing and finishing operations. There are solutions for low-, medium- and high-carbon steels, as well as for stainless steel and some nickel-base alloys.

Lubricant types
| Type | Main function |
|---|---|
| Calcium soaps | They produce a tough, adherent lubricant film. They are especially useful in the first stages and in operations that require good lubricant carry-over. |
| Sodium soaps | They allow drawing at higher speed and leave lighter or easier-to-remove residue. They are suited to intermediate and finishing stages. |
| Mixed soaps | They combine lubrication, adhesion and easy cleaning to keep performance stable throughout the process. |
