Hot work
Low-alloy nickel-chrome-molybdenum tool steel, oil hardening, known for its very high toughness and impact resistance. For forging dies, shafts, punches and tooling subject to impact. Supplied quenched and tempered (≈ 38–42 HRC) and allows working hardnesses of up to 54 HRC, with excellent shock resistance.
