Acetal (POM)

High-stiffness, dimensionally stable polyacetal

Acetal (POM), or polyacetal, is a highly crystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical strength, stiffness and good shock absorption. It stands out for its excellent dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low moisture absorption and outstanding machinability, ideal for precision parts. Available as virgin copolymer (POM-C) and homopolymer (POM-H), in white and black, for the mechanical, food, chemical and electrical industries.
