Polycarbonate (PC)
Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent amorphous thermoplastic with exceptional impact resistance (virtually unbreakable) and excellent clarity and light transmission. It offers a wide service temperature range, good acoustic insulation, light weight and easy forming and turning, plus UV protection for outdoor use. It is ideal for safety and security glazing, skylights, sound barriers, illuminated signage and industrial guards.
