PET Polyester
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with high stiffness and tensile strength, and dimensional stability comparable to acetal (POM). It combines very low moisture absorption, a low coefficient of friction, and excellent resistance to abrasion and tearing, with low creep and easy machining. It is ideal for precision components under heavy loads and abrasive conditions; available in FDA-compliant grades for the food industry.
