Profile projection measurement
An optical comparator (profile projector) measures without contact: it projects the magnified shadow of the part onto a graduated screen, where you compare its contour against a drawing or directly measure radii, angles and distances.
The HD400 adds a dual-lens system that lets you switch magnification instantly, speeding up inspection when you need two magnifications on the same part.
