Nylon HS blue
Engineering nylon 6 made by a casting process and incorporating pigments and stabilizing additives that improve its resistance to ultraviolet rays and heat aging. It retains an excellent combination of mechanical strength, impact resistance, abrasion resistance and sliding properties, even in applications exposed to high temperatures or outdoor conditions. Its good machinability, light weight and corrosion resistance make it an alternative to aluminum, bronze and other metals for making bushings, rollers, pulleys, gears, guides and large industrial components.

Note: The blue grade incorporates UV and heat stabilizing additives. PA 6 C and PA 6 G identify cast polyamide 6 (not to be confused with nylon 6/6 or PA 66). In engineering plastics, composition is identified by the base polymer, the process and its modifications, not by chemical percentages as with steels.
