Nylon XL green
Engineering nylon 6 made by a casting process and incorporating liquid lubricants distributed homogeneously throughout its structure. This modification lowers the coefficient of friction, improves sliding properties and considerably increases wear resistance. The oil stays integrated in the material, so it does not migrate to the surface, drip or dry out, maintaining consistent performance over the life of the part. It is ideal for making bushings, rollers, pulleys, guides and moving components that run with little or no external lubrication. Thanks to its light weight, ease of machining and corrosion resistance, it can replace bronze, aluminum and other metals in industrial applications.

Note: The lubricating oil is built into the material and does not migrate to the surface. PA 6 C and PA 6 G identify cast polyamide 6 (not to be confused with nylon 6/6 or PA 66). In engineering plastics, composition is identified by the base polymer, the process and its modifications, not by chemical percentages as with steels.
