Ceramic UHMW Polyethylene
Ceramic UHMW Polyethylene is a ceramic-filled UHMW-PE (PE 1000), formulated for the most severe wear applications with high loads, high speeds and heavy abrasion. The ceramic further reduces part wear, lowers the coefficient of friction and provides excellent dimensional stability and high tensile strength, while retaining the toughness and impact resistance of UHMW. It is ideal for the lumber, steel and agricultural industries and for every process where conventional wear limits component life.

Note: Ceramic UHMW polyethylene is a UHMW-PE (PE 1000) reinforced with ceramic filler; values are for reference and vary by formulation. Available in green. In engineering plastics, composition is identified by the base polymer, the process and its modifications, not by chemical percentages as with steels. The information and values in this data sheet are provided for reference only and may vary depending on manufacturing and application conditions.
