STEELSKIN®
STEELSKIN® is the CONDAT line of special dry lubricants developed for the final passes of wire drawing and the surface conditioning of wire. Its formulations create a high-lubricity black film that helps the metal slide, reduces die wear and improves performance in downstream processes.
The range includes sodium soaps with molybdenum disulfide, formulations with synthetic additives and calcium soaps with graphite. It is aimed mainly at the final pass before cold forming, welding wire, special springs and applications that require high lubricity and a uniform dark finish.

| Type | Main function |
|---|---|
| Sodium soaps with molybdenum disulfide | They provide high lubricity on the final pass before cold forming, improve metal flow and extend die life. |
| Sodium soaps with synthetic additives | They produce a black lubricant film for the final passes and improve wire behavior during coiling and downstream processes. |
| Calcium soaps with graphite | They combine high lubricity and heat resistance for welding wire, fine springs and special applications. |
